The Final Card
A diabolical, virtually self-working demonstration. Performable right out of the box. The Final Card by Dave Powell is packed with audience participation at every turn; even the setup is part of the fun!
The magician places a mystery card in an envelope and leaves it untouched in full view of the audience.
A wooden color wheel—the grain showing ever so gently through the hue—sets on a wooden easel as beautiful as the main prop. With comedy and audience participation, an ordinary deck is shuffled and sixteen cards are placed four at a time on the color wheel.
Once complete, the wheel and cards invoke a magic nostalgia. Then the fun continues! The audience shouts a color and all of the cards from that space are discarded. This is repeated until one set of cards remains. Each of those four cards is placed on their own color under the clip on the wheel. Again, the audience eliminates cards.
Until only one, Final Card remains. In a dramatic finale, the envelope is opened to reveal the mystery card. It matches perfectly!
